Astronaut Storyboard

After finishing “Leon”, Joaquin had big dreams of a new movie: “Astronaut”. He was planning for it to be animated, but as soon as he realized the kind of effort that goes into creating an animated story, the project died. Nonetheless, these drawings he created for the first scenes of our story are beautiful. Notice the three dimensions in some of them, and his little notes.
